Description

This First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3 requalification is specifically designed for those who already hold a current FREC 3 and need to refresh their skills re-certify their current qualification. This course is also for those who currently hold the First Person on Scene (FPOS) Intermediate and want to convert to First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3. Attending this certified three-day comprehensive training course enables learners to renew or convert to a FREC 3 qualification and will be valid for 3 years from the date of completion.

The Qualsafe Awards First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid, and is the leading qualification for events cover. For those with further ambitions, it also forms the first step of a programme to become a Paramedic in 2 years.

Who’s it for?

The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, ideal for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder.

Among the first to arrive at a scene, first responders typically include police officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at festivals and events such as Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives and Security Guards as well as those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing.

Pre-requisites

Learners must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training
